The Edelweiss Fund is a Bermuda-registered, private investment company focusing on the preservation and stewardship of wealth. Our approach is intellectually honest, conservative, disciplined, respectful of capital and entirely free from conflicts of interest. We seek firstly to preserve our capital against erosion of the purchasing power of money. Capital growth is by necessity an important yet secondary objective. We recognize the value of having an entrepreneurial approach to the understanding of value and risk. Our portfolio is global and diversified among assets such as precious metals, cash, short-term bonds and equities. We do not employ leverage, engage in short-sales, or use derivative instruments for speculative purposes. We do take advantage of market mispricings on an opportunistic basis but generally adhere to principles of value. To the extent economics can add value to the investment process, we see the world in the light of Austrian School theory.
